Today I ran into my friend Chris, a musician and father of two, who has a full time job as a computer programmer. He told me he is struggling to carve out time to compose his own music. I wondered if a small, doable goal was in order, a baby step, to write one song a month. I told him about a project I started one year, making one drawing a month that would mark the change of the seasons and the flow of life through my home.
